I am at the point in this mission were I've done everything I can but need help to continue on. First, the number code thing in the garden. What does it do and what is the code to it? And secondly I still need to enter the crypt but can't find a way in. Past the libray there is a tile crawl space with an obivous trap door. If this is the way in to the crypts then how do I open it?

You're on the right track with the number combination device. That will open the door that will get you to the spot where you can enter the crypts, though you have one more thing to figure out when you get in there before you actually get access. To find the code, you need to read the clue. It says something about burricks, right? Look around, then put that together with the fact that you seem to have an unusually high number of scouting orbs in your inventory.
If that wasn't specific enough, look around the maze and you'll see a couple of burrick heads mounted in areas of the maze that you can't get to. Throw a scouting orb over the fence by each of them and you'll be able to see a couple of numbers by each one. Put them together to get the code.

Nightwalker (but ofcourse ;) ) has set you right on the Burrick head puzzle, but one thing you might need a little help with (as many others did) is how to move the huge hammer.
Read the plaque above the inside of the door...particularly the last two lines. I should also point out that alot of people mistake a certain hammer symbol for a cross...It's the angle you view it from. :)

Now how exactly do I go about moving this Hammer?

Ok. If the clue above is not enough:
use one of the fire arrows that are each side of the door and shoot it into the middle of the red hammer icon above the door.
