Ok maybe I'm over reacting, but every time I make an outfit and someone use's a mesh, witch is great when they like it enough to use it!, but they almost always forget to credit me :( I've had that happen sevral times... One day I helped find textures for someone and they said they'ed give me credit, nope. That's happend twice or more times. Or they use one of my custom made outfit's in a level and say they made it! Witch has happend three times!!! And with realeseing screenshot of this one outfit I made, that took me more then two months! and someone took the plans and made it before my outfit was released! :( I've helped with a story line for a level a fue times, they ask me to help cos I wright fan-fics, and then when they post the story they say the made it up them selves... People have just taken things right off of my stuff like I'm nothing, nothing like dirt! Witch is SO frustrating, they all take advatage of me in my real life and in the Tomb raider LE!!!! Why do you all do this to me? And for thoughs that have not yet done anything mean to me, what shouls I do!? I've already stoped makeing my levels and outfits shown online... But my new one's look tons better then the old one and I don't want anyone to think that I'm not capeible... Errr I'm just so lost......

I'm sorry to here this Alias. :(
I can't help but say that anything produced within the TRLE community is automatically the property of Cored Design and Eidos Interactive as i'm sure you're aware. BUT this doesn't mean that authors shouldn't get rightful credit for their work.
Sometimes, it's just that they've forgotten and other times i'd guess it's because they can't be bothered.
Either way we should all credit one another because we all make this community work, and it's not difficult to give credit where it's due.
So please remember to give credit, as this gives more enthusiasm to TRLE as a whole. ;)

On a technical note, I think only the levels belong to Core. Objects, outfits, textures, sounds, etc are not.
It's really easy to give credit in the readme file in each level. But I think I understand how this happens. I've done it before with textures. You download a whole bunch of free stuff just so you can have it (greedy, aren't we :)). Then you forget where you got it. It's hard to give credit when you can't remember where you got something.
But, that is not an excuse for claiming it is your own creation.

Technically I think your right aktrekker, but if they all appear in a level, then i'm sure they would become the property of Core Design and Eidos, but I admit this could be a grey area somewhat. ;)
Of course this would come into play only if you publicly distribute the level.

I know how you feel Alias. To put so much work into your creations and then have someone use it and claim it as their own. Like aktrekker said, sometimes it's easy to forget where something came from or just plain forgot to give credit. In a few of my earlier outfits I think I forgot to give credit in my read me's to a mesh by Tommy Tomb Raider here and their. Luckily most people know where the original came from. Though it does not excuse people from saying they solely made everything!
I wouldn't worry about it too much..Your creations are unique and we all know where they came from ;)

I'm sure most of the people involved with the LE occasionaly get their stuff stolen. Someone took one of my oufits and added some skin textures, a new headmesh, and never gave a bit of credit..... the textures of that outfit took me several hours of hard work, only to get stolen without credit. There is no reason for the author not to give credit as it looks too much like my outfit. Plus, they are both listed on the same site.

Thanks, but that dosen't stop the other greedy people from takeing my stuff and ideas... There's one person espeshly that dose this and makes fun of me but uses my outfit meshs  So do you think I should continue saying my ideas online? That inclueds outfits, level, ect...

I think the best way to deal with this is to do what you want. If you want to share your ideas with the TRLE community, don't let a couple of rotten apples spoil it for you.
People who act like that, intentionally stealing your ideas or work and claiming it as their own, only seek fame. And fame is hollow when you steal it from someone else.

The only way to stop people stealing your TRLE stuff,is by not putting it on line in the first place. Don't even hint at what your working on and make the outfits, meshes, levels ect
for your own use and enjoyment only.
