View Full Version : Strange crash problem
I am working on a multi-level game and in order for the game to wokr I need identical Lara' objects for all levels. So I added a lara object that is in the other levels too, and when I converted the level and tried to play it just crashed. At first I thought it needs the switches too for the lara object to work correctly, but it still crashed. The problem must have something to do with the lara object, since when I tried to delete some of the newer rooms the level still crashed. I'm yet far away from any limits so that is not the problem either. What could cause this? Any help appreciated.

Had this same problem, it seems to be an animation problem. I think it's wadmergers fault.
And? Any suggestions how to solve this? This is not a modified Lara, it's just taken from a revised wad. Wadmerger is only for the last resort, because when I save a wad with wadmerger it's not compatable with TRWest anymore, and I prefer TRWest, cause even if Wadmerger is a great tool, it sometimes makes more problems than it solves.

make copies of the wad that works with your lara and rename them to the names you use - then copy across all the objects from the other wads that you need for the other levels. By NOT touching the lara stuff with TRWEST you should duplicate the functionality of the original wad. maybe.
Of Course, the backup wad! I totally forgot I had one, will have a look, thanks :D
