Just read this feature here (http://www.vg247.com/2012/05/09/retailers-list-hitman-absolution-for-septemeber-release/).
Various UK retailers are hosting place holders Hitman: Absolution, pegging it for September release – although one retailer doesn’t agree on the date. Zavi and HotUKDeals have all three versions landing on September 17, which is a Monday, while ShopTo has September 24 down as a place holder – which is also a Monday. Square has yet to announce a release window for the title, but it has been expected to land sometime in the fall for quite some time. Thanks, MCV (http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/retail-points-to-september-release-for-hitman/095755?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+mcvuk%2Fstream+%28MCV%3A+Home+Stream%29).
I know SE didn't announce anything and we shouldn't believe anything unless we hear it from IO officials, but I was just sharing.

Let me check my September ...............
Far Cry 3 - Dead or Alive 5 -- both games I am yet to to choose if I will get them or not.
Okay then, September will be a perfect month for Hitman Absolution, a game I already made my decision to buy.
BTW Shaikh are you on X360 or PS3 ?!

This is a good assumption, but I wouldn't be surprised by an August release either, but until IO tells us, we can only speculate on a release date.

All hitman games have previously been released in the summer apart from one. I personally think its going to be another summer release ( fingers crossed :) )

Well, I guess Hitman Absolution will be released on November 20th worldwide. I can't wait to get my hands on this game!

November is such a massive mistake but only after the fact with low sales will they realize it. October has GTA 5 ( gaurunteed as stock holders will want high quarterly profits since infinite was pushed back ) then assassins creed 3. November has black ops 2 ( which will obviously do massive sales ) and halo 4 ( again big big numbers as master chief makes his return ) you also have Xmas shoppers who will most likely buy mentioned games. How io decided on such a terrible release date is beyond comman sence. I hope they realize it and push the date up to September which would gauruntee a lot more units being sold.

I would rather have it released in November and know that it's a great game than have it released 2 months earlier as a half-assed game.
Sure; IO care about sales, they need to make profit but games aren't meant to be released just for the the millions, it should be about the game itself.
Games that are made with passion and detail will be recognized and will sell themselves.

If this game has great quality and quantity, then IO shouldn't be afraid of this sale problem.
The important thing is I don't want to see IO screw up PC version again and again .

Maybe that's why they're releasing everything at a later date. I did read an article that they were working on the PC version specifically for PC, meaning they weren't porting the console one.
Sounds like good news to me.
