A game developer is making a game where a number of different times and places have been thrown together into a mad landscape of clashing terrains, where magic duels with science and the future sits uncomfortably side by side with the past. In this kind of place almost anything can happen, so you need the best team of game characters ever assembled to win through and save the multiverse!

Other game companies love this idea and (Improbable as it sounds) will allow the use of their characters...

You have a team of six heroes & heroines. They can be from ANY game on ANY platform for what will be the ultimate crossover experience!

Lara obviously will be one, as the world's most famous game heroine. It's up to you to choose the other five. Who do you pick, and why?

(Game inspired by the 'FF13 Lara costume' thread :))

Just five characters? I already have ten on my mind...:D

Sooo tough but mine would have to be a femme fatale:

1. Lara Croft
2. My FemShep - failing that: Default FemShep
3. Faith (Mirror's Edge)
4. Catwoman (Batman Arkham City)
5. Sheva Alomar (Resident Evil 5)
6. Jill Valentine (Resident Evil 5)

Why? Because they complement each other so well. Catwoman and Faith bring the stealth and agility, FemShep brings the voice of the humans, Sheva and Jill bring the guns and Lara is a jack-of-all-trades :)

Ivana - half the fun is who you have to leave out! :D

Lady R - Nice list! :) Kinda 'Bad girls save the world' :D

Hmm, I'm going to sound like a hypocrite but yeah, this sounds like fun :)

1. Lara Croft
2. Tim Drake (As Robin)
3. Claire Redfield (Resident Evil)
4. Starkiller (From SW:TFU)
5. Shaundi (From Saints Row)
6. Ben 10

Reasons-
1. Auto pick.
2. Very agile + a complete babe.
3. She is my favourite Resident Evil character, and she just doesn't get any screen time in those games.
4. Special moves + Lightsaber.
5. Why not?
6. Who doesn't want millions of aliens at the disposal of their team?

Prince of Persia - a badass warrior, very skilled swordsman, very athletic and he's got time-rewind and slow time powers :D

Wrex (Mass Effect series) - a battlemaster, loves to fight, a 600-pound tank, raw power, need to have it :D

Master Chief (Halo series) - a born leader, skilled soldier, wears a high-tech suit with its own set of abilities :D

Jackie Estacado (the Darkness series) - has demon powers, useless in the light, deadly in the dark :D

Jack (the Mass Effect series) - biotic user, basically magic type, kinda like using the Force :D

Damn! I didn't think of Jackie Estacado or a Krogan! My list needs to be more varied...

Fascinating how different everyone's teams are! :)

I'm not about to break that tradition myself, either! :D

***

Elliot's Team:

The Doctor (Doctor Who: The Adventure Games)
Role: Team scientist & diplomat.
Even with no TARDIS (Stolen for obvious reasons! :D) The Doctor is more than a match for any future technology and his sonic screwdriver can not only deal with high tech doors but also robots and the like. Excellent planning skills are the icing on the cake.

Lara Croft (Tomb Raider series)
Role: information, scouting, light combat, acrobatics.
Lara's knowledge of the ancient and completely obscure is unparalleled, making her a major asset. Her puzzle solving and acrobatic skills let her get to places other characters (Literally) cannot reach and her combat skills mean there isn't much out of the ordinary she cannot handle.

The Nameless One (Planescape: Torment)
Role: healer of last resort.
Nameless has two great advantages as a character: firstly, whenever he dies he resurrects a while later, making him effectively immortal, and secondly he has the ability to resurrect any of his team mates who get killed. This removes both the utterly fake character re-spawning and the annoying 'reload for Nth time due to party death' scenarios. Plus, amnesiac immortals are cool! :D Nameless can also switch between close combat, thief and mage skills, making him very versatile.

Tommy Tawodi (Prey)
Role: Scout, light combat.
Armed with a combination of alien tech and shamanic powers, Tommy can astrally project in order to scout areas out invisibly, then take down any enemies with some seriously high tech weaponry. Not a man to take lightly! (I'd probably remove his self-resurrection ability, though, as not needed for this game).

Yuna (Final Fantasy X & X-2)
Role: Summoner, healer, light combat.
Yuna can summon Aeons - powerful ghost spirits - for heavy combat, has excellent healing skills and (Given her shooting skills from X-2) makes a useful back-up fighter in normal skirmishes, too. Yuna gets her personality, outfit & guns from X-2, but everything else from X, giving her the best of both worlds! :D

Duke Nukem (Duke Nukem series)
Role: Heavy Combat
Every team needs that one member who can both take and deal truly immense amounts of damage. Duke is that guy. Armed with a formidable array of heavy weaponry, he's more dangerous than an armoured division all on his own. As long as you don't need him to walk and talk at the same time! :D

Ivana - half the fun is who you have to leave out! :D

Oh well, I guess that way I'll have to think and train my brain. :D

Here we go:
- Lara
- Snake (MGS) - is there something he can't do?
- Ezio Auditore - fighter capable of stealth too, you never know what kind of abilities you need in that strange world
- Dante (Devil may cry) - human/demon, who was already in hell, would easily protect the rest of my dream team
- Prince of Persia - he is a warrior and he knows how to control the time, that can be useful
- John 'Soap' MacTavish (Call of duty) - trained soldier, someone has to teach them all to survive

Best part about this idea - there's no such thing as a BAD team! Everyone has their own ideas on who they'd want to play in that kind of game :)
