THIEF 4 Screenshots?

According to a Russian "Xbox" site...XBOX.OD.UA (http://xbox.od.ua/blog/games-info/74.html)...we apparently have several THIEF 4 screenshots...:D

Note: These screenshots were posted on May 4th, 2011...and are not yet confirmed to be actual screenshots of THIEF 4...although they certainly seem like they could be.

Edit: what similarity? No characteristic elements match. Not the lampposts, not the banners, etc.

Hummm, I don't think they're fake. If anything they're the drawings they make in the planning phase, but the site certainly claims they're screenshots. And if they're from May then they're getting close to the end for sure. Here it is translated to english:

They're not drawings, they're quite obviously screenshots in Unreal Engine 3.

Ah, those screenshots. I remember the first time I saw those, which I believe was before Thief 4 was officially announced, and I spent the best part of an afternoon daydreaming about how good a fourth Thief game could look.

I believe those are some portfolio shots by a guy working with Unreal Engine 3 sometime in 2006-2008. They have been around for a long time.

Yes. I don't understand why the site that Vae mentioned claimed those are Thief 4 screen shots.

Showing something like that off is better than a resume. I told him he needs to put it to use for eidos and T4 when I first seen'em awhile back, actually a few people suggested he show'em to Eidos if ya read down below the pictures. I thought he did just that & I thought Eidos was using him & his screenshots & that was why that other page (the russian one) was showing it in the screenshots. You don't see none of the people in the game site page? Those flags are very close to the real thing.

Untill I saw the gun/zombie thing it could have passed as thief!
That style of gun was similar to what Fable 2/3 had no? That dark, medieval eerie style ambience looks amazing, my computer was never to play anything after UT2004/TDS but would be nice to see those kind of graphics!

Are you on about the photo of someone playing testing T4 on a screen and possibly in the screen is our protagonist shooting a bow, and theres a guard, and its outside, and theres banners, someone holding a stopwatch?

Upon first inspection these would be pretty decent screens for a Thief 4 game. Sure some stuff is a little off compared to the previous games but that is to be expected for a sequel; the keepers are pretty much gone and the times have changed. Overall I would give it 7/10 burricks, not bad at all.

Yeah, even though they look nice, they are generic, with no real uniqueness or mystical feel to them...In this regard I'm glad they turned out not to be THIEF 4 images.

To answer that question demands a second look, and i dare say that looks pretty thiefy!
Yeahhhhhh something like that will do, although there are way way too many lights for even the best thief to slither past.

If they were Thief 4 screenshots, I guess we would see a City Watch at least. These shots are too empty. But never the less, I would play a game that looks like this.
