no mouseclicking in main menu anymore

Hey there,

after playing Deus Ex for quite a while (just killed yelena)
since two days everytime i start the game i get stuck in the main menu.

I can move the mouse and also the buttons show effect when i´m over them with the cursor but
the menu doesn accept any clicks?! :mad2:

i already reinstalled two times with same result.
drivers are up to date.

strange thing is, when i hit shift+tab for the steam overlay/menu everything works fine also with the clicks

anyone has got an idea?

Same problem here. Sometimes this also occurs when I press TAB key to go to map/augs/inventory/etc, but usually occurs when I press ESC to bring up the menu and save the game.

I found that I can press Enter/Return while hovering over the button, or use arrow up/down to select menu and Enter/Return to select. Once I select a save game slot using keyboard, I see a "dialog box" asking to overwrite my old save game slot. At this point the mouse button starts working again as I can click the Accept button, and after that it works for all on screen buttons and icons.

Eventually the problem starts occurring again (several times in a 2 hour game session). I've learned to live with it, but am hoping a patch eventually fixes it.
