I've just installed Dx:Hr, but when I start to play, everything turns into yellow-orange color and I can see only the shadow of things in game
Some screenshot I took

Can anyone explain this problem for me?
I'm glad that I found someone who is also having the same issue. There must be many more people experiencing the same problem.
My copy of Deus Ex was working fine until about two days ago. I think a new patch was released then, which I suspect to be causing the problem. I tried changing my video settings, reinstalling the game and updating my video card drivers, but nothing has worked.
I'm running the game through Steam on a Thinkpad T500 with switchable graphics (Intel on-board / Radeon HD 3650). If I try to play the game with the Intel on-board graphics enabled, the game becomes a slideshow as expected, but the shadow/haze problem stops. This leads me to think that the problem is related to the Radeon driver.
Again, I had no graphics problems until this began about two days ago, leading me to suspect the latest game update.
Eidos, please help. I've only had a fantastic experience with this game thus far, but a problem like this makes the game unplayable. A bug like this is a shame since I'm nearing the end of the story line and want to know what happens next.
Cheers
So...after wasting another hour or two on trying to solve the issue I found that the latest ATi driver update did not install properly...which happened to me about a year ago as well - thanks ATi/Lenovo.
You must go into Device Manager, check the driver version, and if it is not up-to-date un-install the driver in Device Manager along with any graphics utility (i.e. Catalyst in the case of ATi) - you don't want any traces left of the previous installation. Once you reboot your computer you need to manually install the latest driver through Device Manager. DO NOT use the install utility provided by the manufacturer. This requires you to download the driver manually from your manufacturer's website - something you may want to do before you start the (un)installing process. :p
Save the new driver into an appropriate folder and then tell Device Manager to browse to that folder when it asks from what source you want to update the driver. Once that is done, double-check the driver version to ensure that it installed properly. That's all that is to it.

With the latest driver correctly installled, did the game work correctly for you?
Yes, the game now works correctly for me. Thanks for following up Nixxes! :)
