i second that question... why eidos, WHY?!? have you forgotten that you also released an extremely buggy version for consoles?

Before asking stupid questions, just use google and get some culture.

Releasing a patch on a console is totally different than PC.

it takes like a month to 3 for any binary update to pass certification on consoles, you cant just compile any code and publish it immediately

there's been no "future console patch" threads, not even a hint at a patch for consoles.

and for the record, Dead Island got a patch within the first week on consoles.

Yeah that dude is totally off as to the cert process timeline too.

I bought this nonsense at launch and still can't play it due to paranoia that the hud glitch will happen to me again, so I wait for a patch. And as we all know...

I'm usually good for seeing both sides, but god damnit, I paid for this friggin game and I can't play it yet. I understand you Canadians have to wait in your free healthcare solution, but this shouldn't apply to your ill games.

Thats bs sorry :-(

When the patch is free from bugs it takes about 7-14 days to get it through certification. So many games got patches in the first 2-3 weeks after release.

What stupid things. When Naughty Dog released the Multiplayer Beta (BETA!!!) from Uncharted, they launched a patch ONE DAY after and solved most of the problems they had. THAT IS A GOOD DEVELOPER TEAM.

The stupid thing is release a game with stupid bugs. Period.

Maybe the patch is so full of bugs that MS refuses to put their stamp of approval on it. From what I've seen with the PC patches this is most likely it.

Do not compare Naughty Dog to Eidos Montreal. Naughty Dog is OWNED by Sony, and Uncharted is THEIR franchise. IT GETS PRECEDENT when it comes to PSN stuff. C'mon man; use your brain. This is why PC gamers make fun of us for complaining about the lack of patches on the consoles.

But PC players have to know that - amazingly enough - there are console gamers who know it's the lot/quality check process that's screwing us over here. Especially this time of year, when you know sh** like Call of Duty and Battlefield 3 is getting precedence so the "BIG GAMES" can get their stupid betas and patches out ASAP; all other games fall further down the ladder at Microsoft HQ. That still doesn't explain why the Deus Ex team can't say, "We have submitted a patch to (Sony and/or Microsoft)". That's really all I want to hear.

Just encountered the HUD glitch yesterday and i'm afraid it might happen again even after going back to a previous save.

They label the game "third installment of the legendary series.", now i hope they make it a worthy one. :/
