According to a few reviews I read on the NET, TR3 is suppose to be the most unsuccessful- riduculousely difficuilt (with many instant deaths etc) TR game in the series. Like as one review put it, CORE has clearly got confused with challenging game play with irritating Game Play. Having played TR2 and knowing it too is quite difficuilt, I guess TR3 must be quite unfairly difficuilt!
Yet according to this forum, many raiders seem to love TR3 and rate it as their favourite? So does this mean that the reviews have somewhat misrated the game.
With these negative reviews I feel prejudice about playing TR3 now:confused:

It's alright. It's very easy to miss things when you're playing through it, but I liked it. Problem was that Core tried to make it better by filling it with gimicks like, all the different vehicles and varied environments, which is why they then went back to basics with TR:LR ...I think you'll find that generally people are least impressed with Chronicles.

I liked TR3. It was quite difficult but I a different way to TR2. I haven't played TR5 yet so I couldn't comment on that but I didn't like TR2 because there were too many armed enemies.

TR3 is my favourite of the series...
-> There are various beautiful environments (India, Nevada Desert + Area 51, South Pacific Islands, London, Antarctica... It's not all the same like in TR:LR)
-> It has a sence of non-linerty (that means that at certain points you can choose a different route insread of doing things in a particular order)
-> The house level is ...well...., he best house level :D
-> + There are a lot of diferrent vehicles, which IMO is fun :D
TRC wa interesting and fun to play, only problem that it was too short...
But it goes together with the level editor, which certainly makes up (you can play custom levels)
