Gamepad Help

I have the PC version and cannot get it to read a gamepad. What am I missing? I have a new Logitech Wingman Rumblepad. Can I config to accept it? Or am I only allowed keyboard and mouse??

Thanks for any help. had same problems with mine to you can update it if you haven't and that might help. I don't know if you new this or not but you can pres enter on whatever key function you want to use and then hit the button on the rumble pad to set that function to that button. I know this works for Tomb Raider anyway maybe it will work with that game :p

I tried to say on sorry and made it even worse. I guess some times its better to say nothing at all. I didn't know it put that link their again like im trying to steal it are something. I'm not i just wanted apologize for replying to that post thinking i was helping and all the while causing more work oh well i try thats all i can do :(

Actually, you can edit your posts to correct little errors like that. And no need to apologize anyway -- you were trying to be helpful, and RedLegg simply provided a more definitive answer.

I've gone to Control setup, then button configuration. I choose an action, press {enter} and it asks me to create a new button. That's when my gamepad is unresponsive and the game does not acknowledge the gamepad. I read the responses that the keyboard and mouse is the way to go and I am used to it, but just wanted to know why the gamepad is not working. Do I need to go into the .ini file or am I just screwed? The gamepad works on my other game, so I know it's properly installed.:mad:
