PS3 Pad for TR1 on PC?

Hi. I'm having trouble getting my PS3 Pad to work with TR1 on PC. I have got it to work for AoD, but TR1 simply won't have any of it. My PC has recognised the pad in the control menu and I've installed the patch from here: http://www.gamefront.com/how-to-use-a-ps3-controller-on-a-pc/

Any one have any advice or can recommend a gamepad that definitely works with TR1 on PC?
