can't select ninjas or weapons on ninja/weapon wheel

Hello,

I recently bought a copy of Mini Ninjas online and downloaded it. However quickly after playing I realize that I cannot select other ninjas or weapons. I am using a macbook with the lates OSX system. I think it's like a 10.4 or something. Any help would be appreciated.

I also bought it online for Mac OSX 10.6 (MacBook Pro). It looks great, but the game doesn't seem to recognize mouse clicks, whether it is the track pad or any mouse plugged in. Very frustrating! Controls can be reassigned for some action controls (striking, blocking), but not for things like selecting ninjas from the wheel. Not sure if the game is still playable in this condition.
A fix would be much appreciated.
