I have downloaded the demo on steam 2.8 gb but would like to know if I get the full game do I have to download 2.8 gb or more again or will steam just patch the demo somehow. Noticed that there's two guardian of light games one reads demo the other not.

I think buying the game just unlocks the full game so you don't have to download it again, but I'm not 100% sure, I bought it a long time ago...
