Batman (1989) Figures coming from Hot Toys!

I don't know if any of you've heard of Hot Toys before,but they are a Hong Kong based toy company that specializes in high end 1/6th scale figures.Here's the announcement,followed by some examples of what they've done with the Batman license before.

Here comes the highly expected Batman (1989) movie license!

Amid much negotiation and many difficulties, Hot Toys is finally granted the likeness right of the renowned actor Jack Nicholson to produce the collectible figure of his character in the movie.

As many ones may know, it is very difficult to get it and it is only granted for Hot Toys, thanks to the quality standard being recognized! Though it is difficult to get it, it is worth because we can bring such great collectible figure to our fans! So fans, please stay tuned our update in 2011

I'm assuming that we'll only get Batman and Joker (but I really hope for a batmobile.)Truthfully,I've got the DX Joker(the one with the policeman) and the DX Batman(with the light up eyes).They are expensive,but I think they're pretty good investments.The Iron Men were about 150 when they came out and now they are as high as 600 on ebay.Oh,and for any Superman fans,they've got a Christopher Reeve coming out.

I remember the very 1st batman toy i got as a kid was the early 80s "Super Power" series

now that was vintage :)

Hey!I used to have that one in the back of the second pic,with the light blue cowl.That was back when it was fun to browse the toy aisle.Now,there are some cool figures,but as far as the toy aisle goes,what was once a wonderland of imagination has now become a baren wasteland filled with multiples of the same obscure characters.Anyways,shirtless batman scares me.
