Does starting a new game erase stat totals?

If you start a new game do your stats totals – Kilometers Driven, Tallest Base Jump, Most Kills, Vehicles Hijacked, Money Earned at http://www.justcause.com/game_stats# get reset to zero or erased? Or are the totals cumulative where a newly started game adds to what was already accomplished in the first game?
