Hi and welcome.
Hard to see from your post, what exactly your question is, you want to see more of DX 3?

That's what they really wanted to do, but the publishers forced them to throw some gameplay in.

^ this :D

Anyway, what's with the people wanting everything turned into a movie. Hollywood sucks and only Hollywood would make such movie. Bollywood ftw, let's hope we will see some hidden DX dancefloor action in some Indian film one day :P

Bollywood movies are fantastic. Nothing better than getting a few people together, some brews and pizza and watching ridiculous Indian action movies.

To do DX right, I think it would need to be a 3 parter and each part would need to be 2 hours long. At the vary lest is would need to be a 2 parter each 90 minutes and just skip everything that happens in Hong Kong.

Edit: Also there needs to be a part where JC pulls a fire extinguisher out of his trench coat and solves a problem with it.

Would be fun if they made several versions of the same movie, with different "playstyles" :P

Including a jackass run of course, with an epic UNATCO vacuum cleaner battle.

Yea, I would really like the director of this movie to film DX! It would be the bust movie evor.

They sort of did this for Clue, didn't they? 3 different endings, anyway, depending on which venue you were watching it at.

Indeed. The DVD I own randomly selects one of the three endings when you watch the film. :thumb:

Such a classic movie. :D

I have the same edition, I think. When I watch it on the computer however, it always gives me all the endings, back to back, which does not occur on a dvd player.

A Deus Ex film might be the perfect subject for the experiment I discussed in another thread. Have the player decide, before the showing, what type of content he wants to see, and have the movie recut itself according to the choices. You basically give hime points to attribute to different sections, a bit like a character-creation screen. Violence, suspense, romance, dialogues, raw action, happy ending, etc. The movie then picks up scenes and "play style" which are more appropriate to the initial setting. Even better would be to have the tv monitor your heart beat, pupil dilation and brain activity, and adjust accordingly to what makes you tick or react the most.

It would make a horrible movie and a terrible gimmick, but I'd like to see the experiment, just for the hell of it.

There are some good movies made by player actors, but they fall down in editing or pace.

The animes are your best bet.

This fake trailer is pretty good though, just posted it in the other thread.

I've got to promote an ancient video I compiled out of Christian Bale in American Psycho:

And, I'm currently preparing to do a DX-inspired short movie. Still building up ideas...

Oh damn... I just had a vision of Bob Page with a Finnish accent. "Lett itt shpill ofer too the shkools and shurches".

For those who don't know what a Finnish accent sounds like (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=139T51QwV9E). :)

No disrespect to my neighbours to the east, obviously. ;)

Best ever DXMP player was Finnish.
