Where are JC2 save files in Windows 7?

OKay this is driving me nuts! I checked in every place they are supposed to be and I cannot find my save files. I checked in My Documents --> Square Enix --> Just Cause 2 --> Saves, and the ONLY file in that folder is a file called JC2 Settings.

I also checked in Steam --> App Data but cannot find any JC2 save files either. Now I have at least FOUR working saves in this game that I routinely play off of, so they obviously must be on my PC.

Oh, and I tried going into Folder Options and checked "Show Hidden Files and Folders" just in case that was an issue. Any ideas where the save files are?

i dont have jc2/steam installed at the moment, but if i remember it correctly its somewhere in the steam installation folder.

*edit* i found the location. in my case its: *steam\userdata\46909219\8190\remote

you can also try to search for *.sav or justcause2save00.sav or justcause2save01.sav

The game supports "Steam Cloud" your saved-games and configuration are uploaded to Steam... any computer you put Steam on will have access to your saved games.
