Well, I tried it out and it doesn't work. What platform did you do that on? Also, how old is the game? I tried it on my PS2 with the version from the collectors compilation pack and it didn't work.

Well, it might be the version where all the major bugs have been wiped out.
Nyeah, I tried it with my original SR on me PC.
Was You COMPLETELY against the door? Face-to-face? Face-to-face with that distinctively coloured square-shaped area??? Try again if You can. :)

I tried it standing against the door and it worked. But that's not the holy potatoish part. I wish I could take a screen shot of this! Right when Kain talks about "who better to server me" (speaking of the Sarafan of course) a wraith came down right in front of me, the the picture smeared clockwise. What happened? The wriath killed me and the game waas trying to send me back to the elder's chamber, but couldn't do it during the cutscene, hmm, how'd you get past that part Firesnake?
