Hey, no poll! I'm dancing on the borderline to herecy here...

Welcome! This is a thread in which people can discuss and debate about the game with so many glitches it is ALMOST comparible to Windows 98: Blood Omen 2!

***

Here is a list of glitches and bugs I have discovered so far:

The game freezes suddenly and spontaniously at random points during gameplay

After the Industrial Quarter level, even if he doesn't have it anymore, Kain will always wear the Nexus Stone

If you use the code to attain the Soul Reaver and Iron Armor, the Reaver will impale Kain's shoulder during certain cut-scenes (certain close-up camera angles actually let you see INSIDE the apparently hollow Reaver!)

During the scene before the final battle, Kain and the Sarafan Lord's voices are delayed, so one is still talking while the other moves his mouth.

In the Upper City, two people are talking about Glyph lights and heating water with Glyph energy. when the conversation ends, it will repeat the first few lines of the the conversation over and over...

That's all I could remember right now. I'll get back to you with more soon!

I think CrystalD has already been made well aware of the issues with this game. There's really no point in dragging it out again.

I think Wise Man meant this one to be more for giggles than anything else. We all know CD knows what's going on... After all, they fixed the problems for Xbox and GC. Even so, those of us who bought the PS2 version need to whine some... Let us have our healing, you hack!!! :D

BAH!!!

Anyway, the voices being delayed in the last cut-scene is actually the problem of Your PC. :D

Is this so? Funny, Because I am pretty sure Wise Man plays on the PS2 platform, which is the buggiest platform.

And I second Blincoln 100%. Drop it already.

How was I supposed to know that he had PS2??? Huh?

I don't like a lot of things.

How were you supposed to know? Ask. clarify. Something along those lines.

Wow... That's a LOT of blank space there between Umah's posts... I just love it when people act way before they think... Mostly because I do that... A lot... ;)

But anyway... Consider it dropped. *Goes to drop BO2, realizes he doesn't have it anymore - considers dropping the game he replaced it with, but realizes that Metroid Prime is far to precious to ever be handled in such an uncouth manner.*

By the way, just so everyone's aware, I think BO2 was a fine game - outside of the PS2 platform. I have a real close friend that has the Xbox version, and it was GREAT. I just got tired of the way mine denied me the joy of killing things and suckin' their blood gooooood by hanging every five seconds. I really do think CD has an awesome franchise on their hands, and I understand that I will never know just how much work goes into the creation of one of these games, even if it does have a lot of bugs. Hell, I couldn't do HALF the job they do, and I know that. I'm just a natural born complainer. Eh.

BAH!!!

I agree with Rio. (With the exception of a close friend having the Xbox version  ) :p It's a good game. Not the greatest I've played, but also far from the worst. Hell, I liked it more than SR.

I deleted the posts, because this was all getting to a personal grunch.
I did not mean to interupt no one, I did not want to talk about things not related to this topic, so I deleted my posts.
I meant good, but again You see only bad. Or is it me again?
Sorry... :( :( :(

OK back to the glitches. the one i found most cool was the bit on the second level when i had to jump into a broken window that led onto the street well i ended up jumping into nothing but grey. Its realy interesting running around a hole load of nothing wile the game loads but it gives you a bit of an idea of the way the games made.

That happens to me too! I thought it was because my disc was scratched up, though. (Idiot brother close the PS2 disc holder when the disc was only half-way in!)

I haven't had many bloopers in BO2, but when I was once playing SR2, the game briefly froze (I was in Spectral fighting with Sluaghs in the Dark Forge). I waited a few secs and then the camera "jumped" upwards. Raziel disappeared. I could fly around the whole Dark Forge area. Pretty cool. I saw all the places because I could go through the walls and the ground. The horizon was all blue. The Sluaghs were still looking for Raziel.

If you have a PS2 and a Gameshark2, I'm going to be releasing a code in the near future that has that same effect. It's one of the different camera modes.

Neat! I don't have a GameShark2 yet, but I've been planning to get one sooner or later anyway, so...
