It's also all the other hosted sites, thief-thecircle.com, sshock2.com etc.
I saw on another forum that the TTLG forums weren't working properly earlier in the day.

Erm ... that's the message you get when you try to access a website which has no files in it.
The fact that www.ttlg.com comes up with that message is disturbing, but perhaps they are simply re-installing their system.

Have confirmed with LR and Grank, now there is a handy dandy, little pop-up, asking to confirm user name and password. LR said he got the samething, though we aren't allowed to view page. :p
No option to save password, at least as of yet. Things being tweaked I guess.

TTLG BACK UP AND RUNNING

I have noticed recently that whenever they are doing system backup or maintenance all of the above mentioned messages will come up at some point. I have even seen the message "Server will be back up in 20 minutes".
MsLedd would be the guru-in-the-know though. Because as we all know she is THE server goddess. All hail MsLedd! *bows down*

MsLedd, in complete denial of the whole situation, establishes alibi to cover her tracks.
....Meanwhile...howie, under court order, does a complete search of MsLedds personal effects and discovers panties, a pair of pliers, and curiously enough, a panzer tank.
<small> Note to self: Will update both forums when all the undercover work has been completed.

Leddsie, we would be willing to give you the benefit of the doubt about the panties. They're probably left over from one of your wedgie-fests anyway.
But about this TANK. I think you have some explaining to do, young lady...

The downtime on the 24th had to do with sudden re-shuffling of servers and connections at TTLG's host.

Pardon me if I couldn't find a more suitable synonym, Muzman. And yes, we have a much stricter language code around here.

Yeah I know. The usage is probably too foreign anyway.
Still, like most 'language codes' of its type, it is of little sense and to no end.

Of course! I have taken my reciprocating saw and have made a larger viewing area the length of the wall, installed stadium style seats, and have added a concession stand. Frankly, the amount of popcorn we were going through was astronomical.
On with the show (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=62728)!

Well folks, I really dunno what's up yet (except it aint TTLG).
iCode (our host) has been having intermittent network problems, which has been the cause of our recent downtimes, this may be another one of those.

We're due to move the server at any time, it's possible that Saam had the opportunity today and that's what's going on, though I'd *think* (hope) he'd let me know first.

hehe, that reminds me of a story...
A keen country lad was applying for a salesman's job at the biggest department store in the city, one of those city-block sized 'everything 'n anything' superstores. The sales manager asked him, "Have you any experience in sales boy?"
"No sir, but I'm a fast learner and a hard worker." replied the young man. The boss liked the cut of him and said, "You can start tomorrow and I'll come and see you when we close up".
The day was long and arduous for the young man, but finally 5 o'clock came around. The boss duly fronted up and asked, "How many sales did you make today? "
"One." said the young salesman.
"Only one?" blurted the boss, "Most of my staff makes 20 or 30 sales a day. How much was the sale worth??."
"$100,334.00" said the young man.
"Good grief! How did you manage that?" asked his flabbergasted boss.
"Well… " said the salesman "this man came in and I sold him a small fish hook, then a medium hook and finally a really large hook. Then I sold him a small fishing line, a medium one and a huge big one. I asked him where he was going fishing and he said down the coast. I said he would probably need a boat, so I took him down to the boat department and sold him that twenty-foot schooner with the twin engines. Then he said his Volkswagen probably wouldn't t be able to pull it, so I took him to the car department and sold him the new Deluxe Land Cruiser"
The boss took two steps back and asked in astonishment, "You sold all that to a guy who came in for a fish hook?"
"No," answered the salesman. "He came in to buy a box of tampons for his wife and so I said to him, 'Looks to me like your weekend's shot, you might as well go fishing'."
