Hi all,
I decided to replay underworld. I put the disc in and click play, nothing at all happens. I click setup and it tells me I have to uninstall first. I have deleted everything underworld I can find, even done a search and took registry stuff out. Nothing works! After an hour I have given up. Could anybody suggest a way I can play a game I bought and own but which refuses to let me play it? :mad2:
Thanks all.

No ideas guys? All I need is a clean install, it's like there is still something there that stops me reinstalling.

Wow, 122 views and no help? not even a comment? Never mind. I went to Stellas Tomb Raider site (I should have gone there first but thought I'd give Eidos a chance, silly me) I got the answer from Stella and it works like a dream, I'm now installing Underworld again. Thanks Stella, good luck Eidos.:rasp:

I can't take too much credit except for pointing the way. In case anyone else is having the same issue, the TR registry cleaner I recommended can be found at tombraiderhub.com (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/faq/index.html).

I hope I can help you with your problem.

Please install CCleaner (http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner)
and delete Tomb Raider Underworld with the Software De-Install function.

Please check the Registry with CCleaner and search for Eidos, Tomb Raider, Underwold.
There have to be old keys, folder and entrys which have to be removed.
So you got a clean basis.

After this steps please write back if this works for you.

Regards,
Frank

Thanks for the help Frank but it has been sorted. Stella from /www.tombraiders.net/stella , found me a cleaner that does an excellent job for all Tomb Raider games.
Thanks again though.

Tomb Raider Hub seems to be having some issues with their hosting. Hopefully they'll be back online soon. I don't have permission to post their file on my site, but if anyone wants it, feel free to email stellalune(at)tombraiders(dot)net or send a PM here on the board with your email and I will be happy to send you the trrc.exe file.
