It sucks, cause its really awesome. Besides the ending, I thought the story was awesome. Multi-player rules.

But besides that OXM rating of a 9/10, GI and Gamespot both gave the game a 6, with user reviews rating it a 4 or less.

The pc community is non existent(watched my buddy try to get a game going for at least an hour) Glad im on the 360...

And the crappy part of all this is most of the low player reviews are mainly people *****ing about the art direction (camera, censorship, artifacts, etc...)

Is that really fair? Theres a great game underneath all that, its not hard to see...

Edit: Just saw destructoids review of the game... they gave it a 1....

Well it's freaking Jim Sterling of all people. His reviews are very obscure. *Regarding the 1/10

He trashed Heavy Rain because it wasn't a good movie, FFXIII becuase he felt like he had to, 3D Dot Game Heroes (well not trashed, but was completely hypocritical) because it was a Zelda ripoff - the one thing he was praising up until the release, and Assassin's Creed 2 for being just plain awful.

So fans of these games, take his opinion like anyone elses...but even less. So rather than as a grain of salt, consider him as an amoeba.

I don't think everyone hates this game either. It's definitely a hit or miss. Even some of the "harsher" reviews like IGN or Giantbomb have all said that there is a wonderful game in this package. They simply had complaints with the controls; something I never take seriously, and in this case, I was absolutely right.

i do think they have given the game unfair ratings...singleplayer is good but not long, mp is well fun so is the arcade...me personally would have given the game 7/10 maybe a long storyline but hey they only have so much space to play with !!

It all boils down to preference. If you played the first game you knew what to expect. The people that are *****ing are the ones who don't understand what Kane & Lynch is all about... mowing down hundreds of enemies. That's what it is. It's not Oblivion 2.0, it's not Modern Warfare, it's not any of these things.

IOI made a great game. They obviously learned quite a lot from K&L1 to 2; hopefully they learn just as much from this outing, and take the words of some of the reviewers seriously when they say that the only things holding this game back from being widely appealing is a short campaign, outdated ways of handling online play, and other technical issues (take the complaints about the cover-mechanic and difficulty with a grain of salt; my own experiences and the way reviewers are describing their troubles with those two things lead me to believe they are both unobservant and a little slow).

Hit detection $****,just like the last 1...shoulda been a multiplayer ONLY game....bullet shields are WORTHLESS..Just take cover and shoot.like a bad gears of war ....I mean did it even get tested b4 it went out...takes like a 5 shots to kill a guy...heads shots count when they want and I could go on...Selling it after I beat it. I wish I could get my money back...

I am sick of people overrating games because it looks cool. i played the first one and loved it. This is a slap in the face to people who played the game for the story, the characters, and the situations u are thrown into. There is absolutey no story at all. There is absolutly no character development, and there are no cool situations u are put into besides running around all cut up and naky. Ya the visuals are mind blowing and i am not going to return my pre-order to eb games based on this, but this was a huge let down. It deserves the harsh reviews

Character development? Now just don't get pretentious over this :D . Kane and Lynch are two of the most ****ed up characters in video game history, right on par with - and, in case of Lynch, even before - James Earl Cash. They're far beyond even the slightest thought of redemption. Asking them to get through a change would be the same as asking Captain Spaulding and the Firefly family from Rob Zombie's The Devil's Rejects to revisit their lives. For Kane and Lynch there's only two options: Death and Death. Yours or theirs.

Well, it is the point in this game, I'm afraid. Actually, I wished for an ending that indeed killed off both Kane and Lynch, but that would of course be counterproductive - what's the point in playing a game when your protagonists die in the end, anyway.

Reviews in my opinion are just personal opinions. Most of the online trolls are nothing more then a tube of one-centered thought, and cannot turn to minimal original inspiration.

I'm a big fan of Kane and Lynch like many of you here but K&L2 did not offer alot more than the style the game is presented. The gamers in the review business want something new each-time, and don't wish to see features that have been done or used before.

Most of them will end up insulting the game which is just plain stupid. The worst of all these trolls are the people who LISTEN TO THEM. I have friends who won't even touch Kane and Lynch 1 because of the reviews... which is just plain stupid.

WOW. the point of the first game was all about the characters and how they dealt with situations. to say that kill or be killed is the point of the game is ridiculous. Lame ass COD games have turned most gamers into "WTF that HeaDShot Was UBER KEWL" type.

I love headshots and they censored the headshots in this bs game. They might as well censor the rest of the ******* body because god knows we wouldn't want a dead body on a stupid ass documentary game like this

Its been a ride so far.....just got past that 'special' level in the middle of the game.....I ain't never done that in any game ever in over 20 years of gaming.

I am however still reeling from the shock I got on the other thread about who is playing Lynchie in the movie......that was even more shocking than 'that' level in the game...I don't know if I'm going to be able to sleep tonight after that:hmm::hmm:

"Scarface" is one of the most ******* misunderstood ******* film ever made, the entire plot centers around the de-construction of that 'dream' of being the king of the underworld, yet all people see is a tale of a criminal icon to be inspired of ... ... ... my god ...

No. But i would not get into alot of fights near me. Someone kicks off and you got a war going on.

I just have scuffles with chavs who threaten you for no reason, i didn't win a fight but i fought back and the chav walked off, 10 mins later i got 'jumped' on a bridge.

If your really unlucky, you beat a chav up, you got his older brother and his mates hunting you down. It's pretty wierd seeing a 12 year old, wearing burberry all over, smoking a *** and threatening to nut you. I have never seen a 12 year old swear so much in my life untill i walked into a rough area.

I'm not a fighter, i'll avoid fights if i can but if i have to fight i will. That's of course if it's me and 1 other guy and not a group of them.

This is bull****. As a mature gamer I don't feel like always playing generic military fps's or the latest mario. Give me something that's with a realistic, gritty atmosphere. Something that you play and could think "Yea I see something like this happening right now" That's the reason I love eidos. Rockstar dabbles in it, but eidos is the only company that dives right in.

I actually liked the fact that that game was sort because the story was so bad, I was glade when it ended. This is why I think the game did so badly, for one they give you guns with silencers but no stealth. Then for some reason they downgraded the sniper rifle there could of been some great range shoot out between snipers on the roofs and on bill boards way in the back ground. I'm surprised that no one else thinks that what they did with the sniper rifle was retarded cause I know I'm not the only one who likes sniping. With repetitive continuously pounding you with the same tactical approach, not giving you an option weather or not you want to blast them right away or take them down quietly or just evade them completely. So people don't like this game because it is repetitive and it's repetitive because they didn't mix up the gameplay.

The problem isn't really that he spoiled a game's ending on a forum , a lot of people do that when they make topic titles without thinking so it's kind of a incorrigible habbit amongst the people ...

The Problem Here is that he was spoiling games that had nothing to do with the game that occupies this specific forum , so really , no one could have anticipated that , and they have a reason to go haywire ...
