****MY OPINION****
Kane and Lynch: dead men is the only game that I actually enjoyed the story in. The story was supported by the 2 greatest characters ever created and had nice diverse locations that went along with the plot. Kane and Lynch:Dog days was a HUGE let down to me (ONLY STORY WISE) because they got rid of the main traits that I loved about Kane and Lynch (mostly Lynch being a psychopath that doesnt know what hes doing half the time) and put most of the gameplay in similar, dull looking environments. The main reason I didnt like the story was because of the plot. I had high hopes that they could have linked the two games together with some nifty plot but instead they had some sad love/ revenge story with the most abrupt ending to a video game ever!!
In addition to the bad story it only lasted 3 hours! I am good at games and usually rip through them but 3 hours?! Thats incredible. It was mostly due to me playing on medium and in coop but I honestly could have beaten it faster if I hadnt died so much. I was also surprised how many times I would just get killed instantly. Some people say the game would take longer on higher difficulties....sure thats true....but it is only true because you die/ have to stay in cover 90% more than normal. For those of you that have played this game, just look back at it and just realize what they did from the first to this one.
Overall it seems like I hate this game but it still is one of my favorites due to the amazing game play, which is the only reason I play games. Good thing I only play games for the multiplayer and just think single player is an add on, the addition of the couple of new multiplayer modes is good but keep them coming!
AND GOOD JOB ON MAKING THIS SEQUEL GREAT, JUST FIX THE STORY BIG TIME IN THE NEXT IF THERE EVEN IS ANOTHER ONE.
