PC and PS3 Release Dates

The PC and PS3 dates have been confirmed on the 28th September for $14.99.

There is also news about five downloadable packs that's going to be released from October to December. The first three are new puzzles and new levels and the other two are new characters.

Yeah, the game is only being released in the last week of September for us in the PS3 camp, but on the other hand, the people in the Xbox camp will only be able to enjoy online play that same day.

I can't wait to hear more about the additional packs. I realize altogether the game and the DLC packs are probably going to cost the same as a full retail game, but I'm excited all the same and unless there's something horribly wrong with them (like a W Gaga soundtrack or a Twilight character attached to them) I'll get them all. On PS3, of course. :D

I thought it's going to come out sooner, but at least we finally know when.
I'm really excited about the game and about the DLC. The fact that it won't be xbox360 exclusive is really awesome. :thumb:

are the dlc's not on xbox 360? ah well, xbox can't really argue or complain about that haha, i could always get it on ps3 and xbox. XD i have the luxury of both haha. :P

The newspiece says the DLC will be released across all platforms, so yes.

Well the 4-week exclusivity period wasn't accurate, and the Summer release wasn't so accurate either.

Should be careful when releasing release "seasons" let alone the actual date ;)

The next Tomb Raider game hasn't even been announced yet, so you're going to wait for a while if you're willing to skip the current Lara Croft game.
