LCGoL Podcast 2 – Audio

Audio Engineers Alex Wilmer and Karl Gallagher talk all things audio in the latest podcast. Answering questions from the community and covering things like how they make a sound and what it’s like working with Keeley, this podcast gives an insight into the work that has gone into creating the sonic world of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. And there’s a slight twist, all the community questions that were sent in MP3 format have been run through the Xolotl-Machine™, making Lara fans sound like the evil baddie from LCGoL…. Sort of.

Edit: That was a really interesting listening and funny as well. :D

I had no idea that making audio for games is so complicated. The "unplanned" part at the end was really nice. It's so cool that the developers read the forums, although they probably visit TRF more often since it's more active than ours.
Anyway, it's great to know that the people who develop your favourite game are so devoted to their work.

That's quite short compared to a few podcasts I listen to! Not that I'm complaining though, as I'm downloading this one right now.

Donīt worry, I think our fellow member M.A. is already working on a transcript for us, so you could run that through for example Google Translate or Babelfish when itīs ready. :)
