This is overlooked sometimes, but I think it contributes a lot to the story. I noticed it thanks to the new Lynch trailer.
The English voice acting in these games is fantastic. Both Brian Bloom and Jarion Monroe are spot-on, and perfect at playing their characters. Jarion Monroe in particular is very good at getting Lynch's anger across as genuine. All the other characters, no matter how minor, have good VAs, too, and I can't think of a bad one out of the bunch.
I can't imagine anyone else doing Kane and Lynch's voices, and that's probably why I find the dubbers inferior.
Who else thinks the voice acting in these games is great?

Yep. It's been done very well in both Games. A+
Yup, I pity those who don't know english and have to listen to the dubbers.

Yeah, the voice acting in the game is fantastic. The thing I really like, though, is that IO seems to give the voice actors some freedom with their lines. That almost always results in more natural sounding dialogue, and it shows. Also, I haven't heard much of it, but I'm loving the voice acting for Glazer.

That's the thing IO has under wraps, that and stories that are actually good.

I wish Jarion Monroe could do the voice-overs for me every time I'm pissed off.

I was fascinated when I first heard Kane say "what the fcks the matter with me? How can I let this happen?!!" when he went down, while Kane's family portrait played in the background. It was a great touch and really showed how talented the voice actor was.
As for Lynch... What can I say? He's not human, he doesn't belong here!

While i still prefer the duo's performance in Dead Men , some moments in Dog Days were just ... damn impressive ...
Lynch's screaming and rambling to himself sounds just right , neither laughable or exaggerated ... being a theater actor surely does have its advantage , but common Jarion , what's your trick ? ...
Don't tell me he's a schizophrenic himself , that'll be cheating ! ...
And Brian Bloom ? again , the duo didn't had that much 'glory moments' this time , but i would like to single out that mid-level cutscene in the sixth chapter , when Kane tries to 'talk' to Lynch inside the TV shop ... that was most convincing , most convincing indeed ...
Glazer should have had more screen time , what he had was perhaps good enough for a nomination for best supporting actor , but 'just' a nomination ...
The actor and this character had good potentials ...
Perhaps we might see Glazer again in the future as a form of flashback , or who knows , they can always keep the same voice actor , but put it in a different role ...
They did it for one actor in Killzone , hope they would do the same for Glazer's voice actor , Jason Connery ...
