I'm getting the standard edition, no matter what.
It's lame to pay more for some ingame items which no one really needs. You got enough weapons in the game already, what's the point of some extra ones which mostly will not even feel different. And the masks, come on. What do you need masks for?
Only thing is that one extra map... but I can disclaim that too.

Got the LE of RDR and BC2, not gonna happen again. Pointless.

Only limited edition i ever got was for Dante's Inferno. Not making that mistake again, the game was great but the extra's were rubbish.

Just to get the 'complete' game? Standard edition should be 'complete' anything else is cheating on the costumer in my eyes. It feels like 'first class' costumer get the LE and 'second class' costumers get the standard edition. Not with me.

In BC2 you get weapons 'early' you can get without paying more.
And in RDR you get a horse in black which is as fast and as good as the ones you can get without paying more. And that golden guns which you only use a few hours, because then you already get much more powerful ones. The list goes on.
Where I live SE cost more then SE. Thats the point.

I have this weird tendency of buying the alternative edition for a game whenever there is one , even if the extras were **** i had to buy it , this was most prominent in the PS2 days , now i'm controlling myself ... i think ...

I agree , alternative editions should include bonus making ofs , developer commentary , original score , posters and action figurines and Extra stuff like that , not in game bonuses that should have been in the standard edition in the first place ...

Unless it's a extra ten hour experience , but that is never going to happen ...
