Damage Done

This might be a stupid question but how extensive is the damage done to Adam's body by the tank guy in the game? I ask because I keep hearing about a jump upgrade, but watching the trailers it seems as if only the skull, chest, collar bones, eyes, and arms were damaged- not the legs. Or is the jump upgrade later in the game when you decide to fully go transhumanist? Or does he have boosters in his arms to help him jump the way Iron Man has boosters in his arms to help him fly -basically the Icarus ability in reverse? Any insight would be appreciated.

From my understanding, Adam's arms are the beginning of his augmentation. And like a large number of people in the HR universe, the rest are optional.
