Well, I don't think Nightwing ever will appear in Brave and the Bold, as it's the Silver age homage show.
But, you can get your Nightwing fix with this:

Hey thanks for the link, its about time they had some new news regarding DCUO!
As for TBATB game, I thought night wing may have been an option as robin became night wing in the episode sidekick assemble. Think I may have to pre order this fame just for the sake of it lol

Well Dick is Robin in the game, even tho they adapted Tim's trademark staff to Dick. I don't own a wii but i'm very optimistic for this, as a great children's game. Wayforward technologies did Boy & his Blob (Wii, 80% on metacritic) and Contra 4 (DS, 83% on metacritic) so i have my faith on the company. Cool to see Catwoman, Catman, Gorilla Grodd and Two-Face in the game!

Which is based upon assumptions since you don't know how many gadgets the game has, or how they work in the game.
Imagine this:Your walking along, you jump up in a small room, you accidently press the button that brings the sidekick to hold his position where you are.Stuck.
Assuming now that there is such a button, and further amusing that singleplayer campaign actually has an AI partner.

Also, Brave and the Bold's Batman is all about having an amazing assortment of gadgets coming out of his being to take care of anything, even super-powered things that would kill normal Batman, lol. It's old school comic craziness and the game should reflect that. This isn't realism-to-the-extreme-Batman, and shouldn't be limited to such.

Everytime Batman says "I work alone" he's full of **** man.
See the "i work better alone" works in the right context which is from Batman: AA dialogue between a guard. He's asking if he can come along Batman to help him, but Batman tells him he would work better alone, since you know the guy is just a guard at the end of the day, not someone actually trained by the Batman.
The problem lies here is that some people take this single quote and wrap it around on everything, which doesn't work. It's like if Batman said "i need assistance" and you start making jokes like:
Nanny: is our Brucie needing a new diaper?
Batman: I need assistance!
Taking quotes out of dialogue and putting them into everything is just one weak argument at the end of the day.
@Riddling Artist: haha yeah i saw that! :) I paused the scene and it seems Catman has some sort of an artifact or science gadget that turns people into cats and Cat humanoid monsters! :D

Yep, Bob Kane, Jerry Robinson and Bill Finger are horrible. So is Robin. I mean, the guy doubled Batman's monthly sales. Awful, awful character. Batman should be teh dark and teh gritty grrr Robin is bad derp.
Batman doesn't work alone. He has Alfred at home, Lucius at Wayne Enterprises, Gordon on the police force and Robin in the field. And there are several good reasons for him having Robin around, one of them being the simple fact that four eyes and four hands are better than two eyes and two hands.

Wait, they came up with Robin? That was their idea?Their only mistake then.
If by mistake, the character that saved Batman from becoming a forgotten 1930s pulp character, then yes Robin was indeed a mistake, because he made what Batman is today.
See it's once again easy for people to think negatively of Robin when people don't know about the character. Ignorance breeds intolerance. How about picking up a comic that features the Dynamic Duo and then judge the character(s)? Assumptions won't lead to anywhere.

I don't remember which comic it was,it was years ago.
See here's the thing. You have close to little knowledge on Robin... Not to mention whichever Robin appeared on that comic, and thus your little knowledge on Robin, and mostly pessimistic ignorance towards the whole concept of Robin has made you intolerant.
Here's an example: Mister A hates Batman and finds him a childish concept. Mister B asks why, and Mister A tells it's because of Batman & Robin movie, which made him decide that all Batman incarnations must suck, because they're filled with cheesy one liners and silly villains.
See? It's pure intolerance while not knowing anything about Batman, which goes for you and your little information regarding Dick Grayson and so forth.
Ofcourse we're not going to force you to like a character or study it, but calling it a mistake or saying he sucks, with the little knowledge you have... Yeah thats just very ignorant, ye know?

I'm not asking someone to be an expert, but one comic that he barely remembers but has made him jump to the conclusion that Robin = awful, is pretty stretched. Ofcourse it's his opinion, while i disagree with it, i do respect his opinion. I just wish people wouldn't be so ignorant and try and argue how bad characters are, when they barely know anything about them.

Yeah I agree with Drazar (surprising, isn't it?) I'm not against someone disliking a character - but if someone dislikes a character based on little to no evidence, I think I have something against them.
Like mwkcope - you've read ONE Robin comic, and you think you have enough evidence to say that Robin sucks?
You know what? The only Batman comic I've read is the resurrection of Ra's al Ghul. I didn't like that one bit - so it would suffice to say Batman sucks?
So, for someone to be able to genuinely dislike a character they have to know everything about them?
It doesn't work like that.
Drazar never said that. He said that he doesn't like someone to genuinely dislike a character they know little to nothing about.

According to gamestop (http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=77199)
Superheroes team up! Play alongside your friends as Batman or one of his powerful allies, including Green Lantern and Robin, or call in the super powered help of superheroes like The Flash and Aquaman to flatten those dastardly villains.
The cover also has Plastic Man, so the only character who isn't confirmed thats from the usual cast happens to be Green Arrow. >_>

Alot of it has to do with first impressions, alot of material (not all) in the mainstream media does not do Robin justice.

Tell me you’re making a 2D sidescrolling beat-em-up starring Batman, and there’s a good chance that I’ll be interested. If you add in full co-op play, I’m likely to call up my friends and let them know to be ready. But if you add in cameos from tons of DC Comics characters, both popular and obscure, and even allow me to play as many of them, you’ve basically got at least one guaranteed sale. Such is the case with WayForward’s Batman: Brave and the Bold.
The handful of levels I played at E3 already has me convinced: Brave and the Bold is going to be good, pure fun. If you’re even a slight fan of DC Comics or well-done old-school gameplay, you owe it to yourself to look into the game before its September release.

If you intend to troll like this, yes you will receive infractions that pile up to a Ban.

Hey... I've seen many other people do this kinda stuff on other threads ALL the time, but you seem to favor picking on me because some of my ideas are ones you don't agree with. I'm not saying don't give me an infraction, I'm saying don't single me out just because you come in conflict with some of my ideals. That's not fair or moderator-like. And why should I conform to your tastes and preferences just because you're a mod? I have the right to the First Amendment of the Constitution, and as far as I know that extends to forums, and a moderator on a forum certainly doesn't have the power to breach the Constittution. can't just tell people what to and what not to say. That's a violation of my rights, If I were disrespecting another person, that's different. I NEVER would do that. No disrespect towards you Drazar, just wanted to crack a bad joke. A wee bit too sensitive.
I know you'll respond to me saying what a stupid post I've made again, and that's perfectly fine with me. I often do very stupid things (not BAD things, just stupid)
EDIT: And I'm adding a new element of controversy to the thread. Who says controversy is bad? And plus, not everybody knows about my dislike for BATB. I've only said it a few times, and somehow you have this idea that people go into EVERY post and read through EVERYTHING in it, which is not true (At least for me).
Drazar
09-03-2010, 10:35 PM
Hey... I've seen many other people do this kinda stuff on other threads ALL the time
You can always report those posts if you feel they are about to start a flame war.
I'm saying don't single me out just because you come in conflict with some of my ideals.
I don't need to give you an infraction because i'm aware you're a smart enough guy to listen to advices. When you don't like a show and your post provided nothing to this thread. You simply avoid it. Your post infact had nothing to do with the actual game, and focused on the show.
Whenever or not it was intentional trolling, i personally doubt it and believe you thought it was a funny joke, but you gotta think of it from other peoples' perspectives aswell. If someone came to your fan fiction and said nothing but: "The stupidest fan fiction ever made. Oooh i'll bet Mad Batter will ignore me simply because i disagree with him *heh *heh*" is that a joke, or a troll attempt? Think about it.
And why should I conform to your tastes and preferences just because you're a mod?
You don't. This seems to be somewhat of a almost popular misconception here.
can't just tell people what to and what not to say.
Oh but i can advise people to avoid comments that seem nothing more than troll posts that can cause a fight. Once again do you truly think your post gave anything to this thread? It had nothing to do with the game whatsoever.
I NEVER would do that. No disrespect towards you Drazar, just wanted to crack a bad joke. A wee bit too sensitive.
And there is a difference between jokes and forum taunts. Jokes can be a miss and hit in for people. You just have to find that fine middle ground.
I know you'll respond to me saying what a stupid post I've made again, and that's perfectly fine with me.
Noone here said you we're stupid or your posts we're stupid. I'm just here to make sure you realize some jokes can come off as troll attempts, whenever intentional or not.
not everybody knows about my dislike for BATB.
Which once again as i repeat myself: Has nothing to do with the actual game we're discussing about. There can be games that people prefer over the source material it's based off from.
