View Full Version : How to stop dynamic POV when flying

Hi guys,

Im loving Just Cause 2 (recently finished original game and just bought JC2)

I am very impressed with just about everything in/of and about the games.

One tiny thing I would like to change is how the POV dynamically changes as you speed up and slow down or move forward/backwards while flying (very notciable in helicopers.)

Is there a mod to 'fix' this (I did a quick search of the forums but found nothing - maybe I used the wrong terms?)

I find the helicopter controls (mouse to stear) quite disorientating as every other vehicle the mouse simply changes where your looking not your direction.. even when your just walking around.. but the helicopters (vital to how I play the game) is just so wierd and does not appear to be configurable.

Any advice or suggestions relating to this would be great, and make a fantastic game even more fantasticer.

Thanks

Wolis - Agree entirely!

Just like in my post I talk about many of the other pc controls that need a little tweaking. GTA 4/san andreas did it as close to perfect as I have seen regarding the flying controls.

Should be an option (like in GTA4) that says Fly with mouse on or off and 2 more keyboard controls (bindable) that deal with rutter left and right ( which is what the mouse now controls) and this way we would have TRUE control while flying/parachuting and be able to aim - would be AWESOME!

Its very disquieting to me how people in general (the masses) seem to be caring less and less about control when... to me...

a game is ONLY as fun as its controls are good/efficient.

How fast I can get my thoughts to action is what matters - and Mouse and keyboard are the closest to perfect regarding this. The fact so many people use controllers is always appalling to me... but I must remember the casual gamer doesn't really care .... In any event - to sum this up - I feel ya!
