I am running an 15-750, BFG 9800gtx, 8gb ram, Windows 7 ultimatex64, latest drivers (197.13) and latest version of DX10, I purchased JC2 through steam.
The only settings i can get smooth constant frames in any forest is at about 720x480 with no AA, everything else on max, my native res is 1680x1050 and I get a solid 35 in other areas, mountains, water, flying so on and so forth but as soon as I hit a forest or get close to structures i get drops into the 10's and occasionally single digits, I was expecting more performance out of my system, are the Forests just that overly packed with polys? something seems off here. any insight would be awesome, thanks guys
