Missing Mako Scientist

before some one tells me to serch the forums i HAVE and what they say DOES NOT WORK i'v set of no alarms at all (interior or exterior) from entering the building i got to the room with the mag rail in 1-2 min and i have done this 3 times and every time the glass is lifted and no scientist there at all?

anyone got a way of fixing this or do i have to keep doing it till he pop's up?

hmm, he should start in there with a guard and a bulldog. Maybe he was wandering about the hallways of the building or maybe it's just a glitch. Do you have a save file for the external? try from there again.

iv got a save file for just before i fly to mako (in the jet) and iv played to where he should be 8 times (i can do it stupidly fast now) and he's never in there and the glass window protecting the rail gun is already lifted. the only other scientist's in that section is the one at the guard station outside the 2 blast doors ( and i know its not him iv looked on picture walkthoughs)

ouch! ok, hmm do you have any patches put on it? or have you tried backing up the save and re-installing?

um its the steam version (don't hate me) so im guessing the most up to date but not sure

I have not installed any patches, but when I kill the scientist, the pilot does not appear until I upload the schematics of the mag rail.

Now that I read this, I think I had the same issue when I played that level a couple of days ago.
As I never intended to kill him I didn't really bother, but I remembered from my first plays some years ago that he was there and I had to do something before accessing the magrail (which was accessible right away this time).

Which OS are you using? I'm on Win7 64bit.

I had no idea about the alarms thing as I almost always play this level fighting off everyone and getting into the room just to be alive.
