A new used game store has opened up near me, and while I don't have any money to get games, I still wasted roughly an hour oggling the old games, and it got me to thinking: I really had start making a list of games that I simply must play, so I've decided to (sort of) do that today! Write down some of your favorite PS1 games, throw in a section for NES, N64, Dreamcast, whatever you'd like really, I'm just looking for the old gems. Unfortunately I don't have a ton of time to write right now so I'll start off the thread with a quick list of my personal favorites. These are in no real particular order...

Those are all PS1, I'll come by sometime later and add in a section for other systems, however I figure this is a good start for a "favorite oldies" thread :D I realize that I wrote down mostly mainstream titles here, however I highly encourage you guys to contribute the little-known jems that get overlooked so often.

Man, I was a little kid when I had a PS1. I played Small Soldiers, Sarge's Heroes, Resident Evil, Rug Rat's games. Basically a lot of games I find lame now, even my beloved Resident Evil series has lost it's charm!

I got a PS1 just to play Gran Turismo but GT2 on the PS1 was even better. I'd go with GT2. I can't even remember what other games I had. How long ago was that? WOW, 1997 for GT1 and 1999 for GT2! That seems like a while ago :) Of course when the PS2 came, 2001, I switched over.
