Alt-Tabbing problem

I got Jc2 last week and every time I alt tab and come back into the game the resolution becomes all stretched out (the HUD goes offscreen) and to fix that I have to alt + enter which sends me into windowed mode, which I don't wanna play in. Even changing the settings in the options > resolutions doesn't solve it, the only thing I can do is restart the game.

My specs are:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64x
AMD Phenom x2 550 black 3.1ghz
ATI HD 4670
4GB Ram
Resolution: 1600x900

I have the latest drivers and tried reinstalling but I still get the problem, I like multitasking, that's why I got it on the PC and not console. I'm not using steam to run the game but from the exe shortcut

Edit: NVM, having another windows open like the browser or a folder prevents this from happening...
