Who in their right mind makes car challenges like a sports car that drives like its on Butter, down a mountain road a Cliff to the Right, Mountain of telephone poles to the Left & loaded w/ cars. This challenge like others are Impossible ( Spinning in circles isn't FUN.. For me the game is Over I finished the IMPORTAINT PART. The Challenges are a waste of time & effort. Games are to be fun, NOT to make U want to take the keyboard & throw it out the Frakkin' Window..

I do not think the idea behind the game was handling of the cars like grid or NFS games, just implements of getting from point a to b?
True though some vehicles are a pain, I have yet to destroy the 4th space satellite launch with the jet :mad2:

I like the challenges when they aren't too hard. If it's a 3 star challenge expect it to be a pain. Have you tried the challenge using a car/heli/plane you upgraded in the black market? Do you have your graphics settings low enough so you aren't in single digit framerates? (You need smooth, fluid framerates for those challenges...especially the flying ones.)
Lastly, for driving challenges, try a bunch of different vehicles from the roads near the challenge until you find one that handles the way you prefer and is fast enough.

There are only a couple of challenge races I consider truly frustrating, and they can sometimes be made easier by upgrading and using your Black Market vehicles.
The handling just takes a little getting used to. There's nothing really rocket science about it -- you just have to watch your steering really carefully.

There's a couple of really hard plane missions (like the one under the bridge in Panau City - unless you use a helicopter) and most of the base jump missions. Car missions are easy, even the 20 minute (I believe) race against traffic

Car missions give you enough time to miss a checkpoint completely, crash, order a new vehicle from the blackmarket and go back to the checkpoint you missed, so it doesn't matter much that the cars don't handle well.

The Raya Race?
Luckily each checkpoint you hit in that race gives you 30 more seconds instead of 10, so you usually finish with way more time left than you started with.

Yeah, Raya Race was the one I was talking about. I changed car like 10 times or something...And took a trip into the woods (by mistake), still had more than enough time. Anyway, that race lasted like forever (at least when taking into consideration that you're going against traffic). The only time I've driven longer was when I took a trip along the highway around the main island. That took 2 hours I believe, with some stops to pick up random crates etc.

All & all I still feel these challenges have nothing to do w/ the games conclussion & should not be in them. OR at least an ON OFF option to the percentage at hand so those who don't want to do them should not have to, to get that 100%.

I still think it should require some degree of skill and determination to get the 100% completion score.

Getting 100% ain't supposed to be a walk in the park. You gotta do everything, and skipping 75 (usually fun) races of course won't ever get you to 100%. I hope to get to 100% once I get my guide book, but it looks more and more like the stupid ass post company has lost it (it wouldn't be the first time...). It was sent like two weeks ago tomorrow, and a CD that was sent this monday got here yesterday...Let's see, the difference is 10 days now, and increasing...

You don't get how 100% complete works in games, do you?

This is absolutely right, never have I played a game with such easy races

Fully upgrade the motorcycle. Use it to complete any ground vehicle challenge. Riding against traffic is easy on the center line.

The challenges are there for when you complete the missions(faction and agency) to raise money to buy items from the black market.
