Not sure. I just found it on youtube while looking for deus ex related stuff, but wow looks amazing no matter.

To weird as well to me also the guy seems to be totally engineered so he wasn't human before, it's certainly well made but I think it's fake even if the renaissance style is shown here and the futurism is also present

It's the Johnnie Walker - Human commercial (http://www.splendad.com/ads/show/241-Johnnie-Walker-Human)

Pretty neat commercial, fitted in quite well with the Human Revolution theme too, except that there are no androids in Deus Ex. :p I also noticed the lack of a yellow/ochre colour scheme, which appears in every HR media. Good fake trailer.

Yeah but it introduce a sort of morality that fits well the Deus Ex universe.

You know that the humans wants to achieve immortality, strength by becoming a machine.
But the android shown here wants to have human emotions.

I think that kind of plot element fits well the Deus Ex universe, a kind of commercial ad that Deus Ex developers can use as a source of inspiration for making imaginary ingame ads.
No really I like the manner how the commercial is made is just great.

This is a good point. People think that they can be immortal by being strong and invincible, but ultimately, what makes you really immortal, is to do something that is great. This is an excellent pitch for non-augmentation-oriented players, because we know that will be a route in the game.

Replace that android with Morpheus talking out of a security bot, and it's very Deus Ex. :D

Looks fantastic but sadly would not appeal to the audience DX:HR is after.

Some short teasers a bit like this just to explore thought provoking themes of the game would be very clever marketing devices. Not necessarily with a direct connection to the game's events, they could even work with live action.

And straight away I realize again why transhumanism is such a boring and cliché theme. If this android really wants to have emotions, it already has emotions. Unnecessary drama. Gunther's problems were much better done.

While I agree with you and generally do on a regular basis, if you're trying to suggest that's what DXHR is focusing on, I respectively disagree.

Even though its fake, mislabled and not even a note to explain that it isn't a real trailer (which I hate)

This actually shows they should make a trailer as powerful as this one. Simple yet very effective.

I certainly hope not, but according to René HR is all about transhumanism. But we'll see.

I think he was talking about the emotions thing, gamer0004, not H+ in general.

I was referring to the emotions. Rather than wanting to have emotions, the story will focus on the emotions associated with being augmented mechanically. Kind of flips it, and expands on what DX touched on with Gunther and Anna.

Since J.C. is half an artificial being we can suspect that HR is getting there at the end of the game. Don't know about the time frame DX:HR is going so it could very well be that the game isn't even going that far. But it's not needed anyway if you ask me.

And +1 to 'Gunther's problems were much better done.' DX was/is that great because it gets to the core of the problem both philosophically and practically.
