Launch Problem : Not enough memory to complete the operation

Hi to all.
I don't know if anyone has this problem but, everytime I try to run Just Cause 2 (steam version) i get this error message: "Not enough memory to complete the operation"
(literally translated from my language)

It's the first time I see this error , other games run fine :Mass Effect 2 ,GTA IV, DOW 2, Dragon Age Origins, L4Dead 2 even Metro 2033 ecc.

My Spec:
Asus P5W Deluxe
Core Duo 3 Ghz
4 GB Ram
GTX 260 (216 version)
Windows 7 32 bit

All system drivers, directx and Nvidia driver are updated.
50+ GB free on my HD partiton where i've installed JC2, 3 GB Pagefile.

If anyone can help... =)

check your system usage? is the computer running slow as well?

close programs to free memory, it works for me.

Ty for your replies, but my system works fine.
Tons of free memory (i can run Metro 2033 in high quality) and most of unusefull Win 7 services are disabled. (superfetch too)
No autorun programs except Avira antivirus (and i turn it off when playing)
Same problem even with the demo... hoping for a fix in a future patch.
