batman AA very slow

I just bought Batman AA asylum and I am frustrated as framerate drops to 7 whenever there is a challenge with flying from gargoyles to gargoyles and catching ennemies below.:mad2:
My specs are: CPU Intel Core 2 duo E8500 - DDR 2 4GB - Asus ENGTX 260 TOP - Win 7 64 bits - PSU Corsair 650W.
I have changed Gcards drivers 3 times:nut:My mobo's drivers are all installed. The framerate drops EVEN IF PHYSX IS DISABLED. I tried with the lowest settings possible but the problem remains. To me this game is badly programmed. :eek: It is a pity because otherwise everything is great. Thanks if you have a solution.:D

Hi, thanks for your interest. There is a lot of info:eek: I copy/past most relevant. Hope does not give you a headache. My sound card is a realtek but I have no problem with sound which is fully 5:1.

Are those the latest drivers for your Realtek card? Realtek audio acceleration is known to causes some problems for some people, but I think the latest drivers fix it for most.

Thanks for the suggestion. I got it working after the following steps:
-Moving My Docs back to default location
-Uninstalling/reinstalling Batman:AA
-Updating DirectX
-Updating my audio drivers (SoundMAX HD Integrated Audio on my M2N-SLI Deluxe)

In fact I had 2 gamepads installed logitech & Xbox for PC. I have desinstalled all of them and played just with keyboard and ... no problem anymore, :) no drop of framerate. :) I will check further and reinstall Xbox Controller.

The problem was a conflict with the game and the 2 gamepads installed as all my drivers were up to date. I have desinstalled everything including the game. Then I have reinstalled 1) XBox PC controller and 2) Batman AA. And everything is OK, :) :) Batman is flying like a turbo bat with a average 40 fps. The PhysX effects are just great. Hope this info can help some others.
