I found it weird when I first saw it, but then I thought, maybe it's reallistic...

your talking about real life? caue if someone jumps off from a high height then they do bounce, sometimes up to 6foot high.

its not a nice thought though.

its its in game... then they do also but not as much as 6ft

depends on how much force is involved really, also what part of thier body, and what surface they land on,

but in theory yes, people can bounce.

Well.. considering Rico can take a faceplant at terminal velocity into a mountain side, bounce, roll around a couple times, stand up, say ouch and continue on his merry way...
I think we can safely assume realism is out the window...

I kind like it how it is, it fits with the game..

No, they dont, but this is just cause 2! the game is not made for being realistic, it is made for being fun =D I mean.. wouldn't it be boring if you just land on the ground instead of bouncing up in the air and spin 3 times in the air before finnaly landing on the ground :D:thumb:

They do a bit of both, splat a lil on the initial impact but they do most certainly bounce, I've seen it on a real video from a 20 story building :o

I knew a guy that was sadly doing drugs and jumped from the fifth floor balcony and died when he hit the ground. Too bad I wasn't there to see if he bounced.

If your falling from a high height, no you don't bounce, you splatter. This happened during the 9/11 event when people tried to escape from the tower by jumping out the windows. I would imagine it's similar to dropping a watermelon off a high object, except of course the person would have to be higher up. people might bounce if the height is right, but I think once they reach terminal velocity (the highest speed anyone can fall just using gravity, 9 meters per second) it's pretty much over, unless some pieces bounce after the initial splatter.

Normally you would splatter if the hieght was enough, but most of your splatteredness would also bounce.
Now, they aren't about to make this game overly gory by having realistic splatter, so taking that into account the bounce is entirely accurate.

Yes, people bounce, just not very much.. rarely, if ever more than once.
