Where in the demo can you go underwater? Unless you do the breakout glitch I haven't seen any water bodies in the demo area.

In the official Demo have a little piece of Water. you find it at Nort-East. :D

If you do the story mission for the reapers you'll finish the mission at the area with water. You can swim in a pretty large area for it being a desert.
