Before you place the tiles on your map you can change their appearance using L1 & L2. Go into the tile menu and ie: tile 27 press L1 or L2 and this will give you a choice of connection from a low to a high level. With some tiles this action removes or replaces ramps within the tile (not tile 27 or 22) You have to do this adjustment before you choose and place the tile.

My apologies, I've got a GC myself but I've got the PS2 version of TS2. Heh, I shouldn't assume eh?
The only thing I can suggest is, you could have possibly accidently pressed "Y" on tile 27 within the tile menu. If this is the case, it would cause that tile to be on a different level to tiles 22 & 14 so the ramp wouldn't then connect. If you have done this, just remove the offending tile and replace it with a fresh one, making sure it corresponds with the others before you select it.
You can adjust a tile's level while it's on the map but replacing it is less complicated.
A good way to check you haven't done this is go down to the level below your 1st floor. If there is no sign of any tile, you've done it right. If one or more of the tiles show at this lower level, then it's been placed incorrectly. Hope this helps some.

The levels are fine the ramp wont reach tile 22.
All get a pic up later.

Ah, I think I know what your problem is. It's not tile 27 that's giving you a problem by the sound of it. It's tile 22 that has to be adjusted to meet T27's ramp. You can marry the ramp to any of the upper level platforms using the GC version of the PS2 Circle - I think it's the "C" stick - This will turn the tile to fit. You can do this several ways ie: if you want the ramp to meet the upper platform of tile 22, you'll have to spin T22 to meet the ramp on T27. Alternatively you can spin T27 so the ramp meets one of the upper level no. 16 tiles (adapter 4)

Hmm probably right... which side should I turn it to without messing up the way the map works MapMaker Monkey, which way does the ramp go(it isnt specified in the tutorial)

Leave your cursor over either of the 2 large tiles on your map (22 or 27) then go a floor above it. The tiles will then show their upper platforms as silhouettes, so you will then find it easier to line them up. Just press A to make the tile you want to spin, movable.
Or just look at the tile's exploded view on the screen. You can see how you've spun them by that also.

I know how to do it I want to know which side it should go to. Which is why I want MapMaker Monkey to state which way.

I think it was meant for the "L" shaped platform of Tile 22 to meet up with the ramp of Tile 27 but I've found it doesn't really matter if it doesn't, so long as the ramp meets up with one of the upper level platforms ie. one of the adaptor Tile 16s. So long as that ramp meets up with something, the plan works perfectly. It's also a very clever story plan which at first I thought couldn't work, but it does, and well - my compliments to Monkey.
By the way, if you spin a tile with an item or enemy on it, they're still there but you might have to adjust their positioning.
