View Full Version : Why bodies keep breaking the grapple

I think I've figured out way bodies keep snapping the grapple when attached to moving cars.

Whenever you duel hook someone to a pole, a tree, or anything, they untie themselves. So they must untie the the grapple whenever they're attached to a car, which wouldn't be hard if you weren't rolling all over the place.

But if dead bodies are snapping the grapple... I have no idea why.

the strength of the grapple was severely reduced for the demo, in the full ull beable to grapple cars to poles etc without it breaking

When the guard you have dual-hooked to a car dies, the line snaps automatically so he can despawn, if you want to keep someone behind the car, make sure he stays alive

They should make it so that at least one of the bodies you've just "created" does not disappear. Just so people could recreate their ultimate fantasy of draging a body behind a car for miles :P

I know everything vanishes so fast because of the memory limitations, but I don't think having one or two bodies lying on the ground would break the game. I wonder if it's possible to put that in the game or not...

its possible, they would just have to make the corpses disappear as soon as you reached X number of corpses.. anywhere between 10-12 would be fine for something like that

AAAAH awesome, i saw vids showing awesomenezz power, in the demo its not that strong, i thought they worked it out in both the demo and game.. so this is good news :)

I think we should get MCM in on this. The grapple in not upgradable nor will it be stronger in the real game.

the grapple breaks when ppl die in the demo becuz it would be a little graphic.
i forgot where i heard this but im pretty sure MCM said this
