Hello forum ( and especially developers ).
I've had in my mind that it would be awesome if there were many versatile things to do in JC2 even when you had completed the game. I wish that you would take this to a serious consideration for the sake of memorability and survival of Just cause 2, developers.
I've come up with some ideas to make freemode funnier to play. These ideas are extremely vital, if you're not only looking to get money, but make players play the game alot, remember it and leave an extrodinary experience of the game.
First of all, there should be "free-of-choice" missions, that in random time periods, pop up to the screen for the player to accept or decline. These missions should be infinite (no limit of when they stop popping up ever again). Ofcourse these missions as I said should be free for the players to choose whether they want to do it or not and ofcourse if players deny the mission they wouldn't lose anything but if they successfully compelted the mission, they would get a reward such as money or ammunition. These missions should be for example to eliminate a target (in a moving vehicle, assassination ), delivering packages (cars, helicopters, other miscellaneous items), races (cars, bikes, planes), infiltration to bases (stealing vehicles, sabotaging) or such funny little things to do.
If you can add these ideas to the game or ofcourse change them as you will ( but not much! ), it would be more than enjoyable to play. It would be F****** awesome!
Forum, feel free to tell YOUR ideas and opinions here! :)
Greatest thanks and regards, Jakejanne :group_hug:

I don't understand the meaning of this
The missions are already 'free of choice' as you can perform them whenever you feel like it.
All these things you've mentioned are already implemented into the game.
It's like saying , hey guys i have an idea
Its much more fun to make a sandwich if
you could choose to put on the tomatoes or the salad on it first ... :nut:
No wha I'm saying ?

I like the ideas, but as Bluesbro said it's kind of late. The ideas you have here for the third game to this franchise can work, though. :thumb:
Well... that sucks. :(
I am very dispointed. This makes me doubt whether the game will be as fun as I thought. I saw so much effort... but nevermind.
I guess only a miracle could get them do all that then... Well it's their loss and fault of disapointed community when the gamers realize it has nothing awesome to do...
I guess I should change my signature...

Dont worry, this game is based on freedom, there a loads of missions that branch off from the main missions, like the ones you were talking about. the only thing is they dont pop up and tell you.

Now if you have brains and especially eyes, I said "--even when you had completed the game." which includes the main missions(and faction missions). The things I mentioned up there were "side missions".

Seriosly? That's great! I did not say I did not like the game at all. I just said I was a little bit disapointed. I really care about the survival of the game ( if you can say that :P) and that's why I wanted to affect the developing. As an experienced gamer I think I know what makes gamers want in a game and what they don't. Correct me if I'm wrong.

to the thread starter: your idea isn't all that original. it was done in the true crime games (which are mediocre at best) and you basically just stated the boring repetitive side-missions in jc1 that everyone hated

Avalanche prolly won't take recommendations from one guy, you know... sounds crappy.. you're in a middle of a dogfight, then a little message pops up and asks if you would kindly step out from your vehicle and go fetch a cup of tea.... pointless, pointless idea.

didn't they say that there will be other side missions once you are done with the main ones and have basically Finished the game?

I really hope so. If you have played Red Faction Guerilla, you'll know that sometimes you get informed of a mission to do if you like. I was thinking of that kind of missions , which would keep the player busy even when the game was finnished.
Isn't it funny to drive a jet and when you suddendly get a mission, you decide to move in and blow the f*** out of them. :)

Not really. Use imagenation: A private assistant of Rico's could inform him that a mission is aviable if he wants it done. Like in Red Faction Guerilla.

Jakejanne I notice you've wrote 3 posts all after the other which can easily be over come by editing your last post, look at the bottom right of your last post and to the left of 'Quote' is 'Edit'. To quote multiple posts click 'Multi-Quote' (to the right of 'Quote') on however many posts you are quoting but on the last post your quoting click 'Quote' and it should all be there ;) For example :

Yup it's CHAOS based, you unlock story missions by creating... well chaos xD (MyColdMan said it in the digital cowboy podcast) and the entire island is unlocked from the beginning
Sabotaging is in quite a bit, with blowing stuff up and looking cool
I think assassinations are int it also, or at least capturing someone...

I'm not sure what I prefer, having the entire map unlocked at the beginning or unlocking piece by piece through missions :hmm:

No..
Id have the entire map UNLOCKED right away, BUT the features to be unlocked while progress of the story mode continues, like GTA.
Say, You get automatic heat if entering an international airport without getting your Flying license, or not being able to enter the blimp until faction 2 is complete, or certain vehicles, planes, jets wont appear unless certain progress is obtained etc.
This would force me to get deep within the story as I find the map to be dull, but then come to realize there is a hell of alot more than I knew
