Hehe.. Also the FPS didn't seem to stable as Rico is free falling.. And at the very end as his parachute hits the underside of the motorway bridge.. FPS dropped dramatically.. Frame rate overall seems.. Unstable as a whole.

actually Microsoft installed a JASPER chip in the 360 a while ago so any 360's bought within at least a year no longer have the RROD problem, so really that was one of the biggest points in a PS3 fanboys argument against the 360, now that is solved.

i am on neither side of this argument. i prefered my 360 but i still respect the arguments of those who prefer PS3's as long as they are valid arguments. (so none of this "itz bettar, it huz moar!" crap.)

so after watching the clip and going on just the parts with the minor pop in I have concluded that the pop in is very, well, minor. So if that's the pop-in there is to worry about (which there have been equal amounts in the 360 gameplay vids) then I'm good to go. I'd take a little bit of pop in to get that sweet video record feature. All I need to see now is a nice HD video of the game being played on a PS3 to make my graphical comparisons.

I would prefer it to be not with that redish sky, as most of the 360 gameplay has been shown in the desert, jungle, and snow. I would prefer the PS3 gameplay to be shown in one of those settings so that we can make accurate comparisons. No apples to oranges devs, please.

1. This is a recording onto YouTube so is probably compressed etc in the transition from PS3 to YouTube.

2. We've NEVER seen a video on the 360 of Rico base jumping into the city, in fact we've only ever seen tropical/desert gameplay which has alot less going on. Therefore until we see a 360 doing exactly the same as this we can't say which is "better".

PS3, xbox and PC will all run at the same FPS (roughly). You cant rely on YouTube to judge FPS as almost every video that is uploaded to its servers are compressed to save space. take this vid

Umm the funny part is that you really can bind a virus to a video & upload it to YouTube.

Good for the ps3 that one of it's cores actually works as an anti virus/firewall. But access to YouTube would be a way into the live server network so it's an honest possibility

I will say the 360 version might look better indeed, and Im not flaming the PS3, which is an awesome console, but JC2 like too many games might have suffered from the problem of the PS3 being too advanced for many developers which design a game with some technical issues for PS3s because they dont understand its technology completely...so many 360 games end up being better.

But that doesnt mean that 360 is better than PS3 because its not the console that causes the flaws but the software itself...the game is the one that has the issues...in fact I own a 360 and it has given me some very good times, while they have lasted, because my 360 has been very unreliable in terms of hardware quality..

I am pretty much tired of fixing my 360 and might be getting a PS3 soon to give it a chance to win me over, ofcourse, I can get a new 360 that supposedly doesnt have RROD issues but its very hard for me to dish out more hard cash to someone that already failed me and lost its credibility..

No disrespect to 360 owners beause Im one, but Microsoft stinks, and I hope your consoles live up to your expectations and give long JC2 hours of enjoyment, but I will probably use this moment to jump over because I want to enjoy JC2 with out the worry of RROD so best luck to my felow 360 gamers..

Yeah it's kind of a toss upcuz xbox does have 512mb even though it's shared memory, from a pc standpoint that's a big no no

the ps3 does have only 256mb dedicated, however it can use the cells to render and therfore access the 256mb of xdr memory which is the fastest memory since it runs dual pipelines.

Generally speaking the ps3 has better physics capabilities and the xbox has better video rendering cababilities, but as deva learn how to fully utalize the ps3 potential, things can easily change.

But yeah the PC is always nice due to upgrading, but there's a lack of game development for it now. Hopefully the new generation of gaming has more ram as xdr drops in price. One can only hope
