disc problem

I just got the game from Amazon yesterday. I loaded it and the install went fine. No problems or issues. But when I went to play the game a message came up saying to "reinstall the dvd/rom and retry drive?.:"

I know in the readme information on the disc it says that disc is setup for drives that use the letter "d". My dvd/rom drive is labeled "e". I tried changing the letters, but that didn't work. Is there a way to change the path that the game recognizes so that I can play this?
