Multiple camera views while driving! Plus: Going Inside buildings and Skis?

So I was snooping around R Carters Flickr account and found some veerrryyy interesting pictures. Im going to start with photo number one....

PICTURE NUMBER 1:

So as you can see in that picture, the player is looking out the back of his car. Maybe you can have an inside view while driving vehicles? Similar to Forza Motorsport or other racing games...

Can you go on skis? Looking at that picture it appears they are just there for decoration. Or maybe something else. I think theres a chance you could use them. I mean why else taunt players with a picture of them?

In this final image, we see the player looking out of a building. Maybe, just maybe, there are certain buildings you can go in. Just imagine how cool that'd be! Going into a skyscraper and busting out of a window! Or hiding from the militia in a forest cabin. I think it'd be awesome!

So what do you guys think? What are your opinions? Am I full of baloney? Or are these valid points? Should I stop asking questions? If you say "yes" should I listen to you and stop? Should this post end right here? I think so. haha sooo start posting! :)

first one looks like rico is in the backseat so maybe thats part of a mission?

second deff just looks like decoration, but who needs skis when you can basejump/parachute down the mountain!

you can get inside militia base camp buildings, like the small shanty huts.. i'm not sure about other buildings... but in one of the missions rico smashes through one window to save a guy.. so you never know! But i think most buildings arent, otherwise you'd keep smashing windows while you were trying to grapple

Thanks! But yeah your right, your probably cant go inside most buildings. Haha and what if you could ski out of a plane, then deploy your parachute to land on the perfect slope! lol Oh and I didnt know about you being able to go in the small shanty huts. Thats pretty cool! Thanks for the info...

i agree it would be cool, but you could try basejump and try stay as close as possible to the slope without opening parachute, or opening it and closing it instantly to extends the glide!

And by shanty huts i mean, the small guard towers/buildings at the entrances of bases. Most games have those open normally!

I think most of these can be attributed to the free-camera mode that developers have access to, where they can detach the camera from following the player and move it around the map, allowing them to move through walls and into cars and stuff like these pictures :)

the board and skis would be perfect besides the snow, think using the grapple on a boat to water ski lol or doin some sky boardin then landin on a snow downhill slope..

As far as buildings go, i know you can go inside the enemy checkpoint kiosk things. :thumb:

What would happen if you attach skis to a boat and remote control the boat while standing on the skis. It would be cool if you can waterski

Well, I'm sure you can't enter every building, but the buildings you can enter probably have a purpose or something like that.........

As for number 1, you cannot view inside the car like that, this is a 3rd person game and that picture was supposedly taken from Robert James Carter's point of view (by his camera).

Im aware that it is third person. But I mean if you had the option to change the view from third person and see from behind the wheel (like "Far Cry 2") and/or look around your vehicle.

Highly unlikely............People wanted Grand Theft Auto IV to have full interior view while driving! That didn't happen. And I mean, considering the amount of action goin' on in JC 2, first person driving may be good..........just sayin'...............:hmm:
